STILLMAN VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL
ILLINOIS STATE SCHOLARS ANNOUNCED
The
Illinois State Scholarship Commission has notified Stillman Valley
High School that sixteen seniors have been designated as Illinois
State Scholars. Those students are:
Jessica Glendenning daughter of Todd and Julie Glendenning
Karri Hess daughter of David and Jeanne Hess
Matthew Hess son of Timothy and Janice Hess
Nicole Jagielski daughter of Tim and Meg Jagielski
Courtney Johnson daughter of Stuart and Shellie Johnson
Amy Light daughter of Terry and Cynthia Light
Meghan Owen daughter of Charles and Kathy Owen
Ashley Parks daughter of Michael and Doris Parks
Bethany Steiner daughter of David and Susan Steiner
Kirsten Theden daughter of Tim Theden and Chris Theden
Nathan Vandyke son of Debra Vandyke
Chad Vangsness son of Bryant and Rhonda Vangsness
Jordan Warner son of Brent and Amy Warner
Bailey Weber daughter of Jim and Julie Weber
Victoria Werckle daughter of Curtis Werckle and Deanna Whitlock

The selection as an Illinois State Scholar is based on a combination of ACT scores and class rank through the students’ junior year. Approximately ten percent of Illinois high school students receive this prestigious honor. These students will be recognized at the annual Stillman Valley High School Academic Awards Banquet on Monday, May 5, 2008.
