Results of the IHSA Music Contest

The music department of the Stillman Valley High School competed in the Illinois High School Association's State Solo and Ensemble Contest held on March 1, 200 at SVHS. SVHS received 99 sweepstakes points out of a possible 120 points. SVHS received 15 Division 1 ratings, 3 Division II ratings, 0 Division III ratings, 0 Division IV ratings and 0 Division V ratings. We are hosting the IHSA music contest here on Saturday, March 1, 2008. Students from 16 schools will be playing or singing solos and ensembles for judges all day in the SVHS classrooms. Twenty classrooms are being used for judging and warm-ups.
The IHSA music contest is open to the public and it is FREE! The contest starts at
8:30 a.m. and goes until 3:00 p.m.
