May Day!
Warmer Days Ahead
March 05, 2008
Stillman Valley High School will host its 76th annual May Day Pageant on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the gym. The May Day Pageant is presented in honor of the crowning of the 2008 May Queen by the 2007 May Queen, Miss Jessica Higgins. (To view the court of 2008, go to May Court under Special Activities.)
Twenty-two girls will participate in the “Sophomore Arch.” The program will also include musical performances by individual talents and by the Cardinelles and the S.V.H.S. Cheerleaders. Twenty junior girls and their escorts will take part in the finale, the wrapping of the Maypole.
The beautiful pastel tulips are provided by Merlin’s Greenhouse and Flowers in Oregon.
The May Day Pageant is sponsored by the S.V.H.S. Student Council and is presented free to the public; however, free-will donations will be accepted at the door after the pageant has concluded.
