The Stork has Arrived!
...and who says parenting is easy!
March 06, 2008
Parenting class is once again choosing and carrying babies with them as they sit in classes and travel to and from SVHS. Students draw for babies to find out which baby the stork will bring them. Students could receive a single baby, twins, or triplets.

Some of the babies may even have a disease or a disability. Some of the diseases and causes are listed below. Students who have a baby that has a disease or a disability will end up researching the disease and doing a paper on it.
Herpes Simplex--due to exposure to herpes
Deafness--due to toxoplasmosis
Fetal Alcohol Syndrome--drinking while pregnant
Cocaine--due to cocaine intake during pregnancy
Infantile Spasms--due to STD's
Missing a limb (arm, etc.)--due to prescription drug exposure while pregnant
ADHD--due to nicotine exposure
If you know someone that is responsible for a baby, send them a note of encouragement. Students at the end, have to create a baby book. Give them memories to include!
