Be a part of the evening of fun and competitive spirit on Friday, April 18 at 7:00 pm. Friends of the Library will be holding its first annual Trivia Night @ The Library.
The tournament will consist of a series of rounds, which will include trivia questions on various topics, such as music, sports, science and technology, history, literature and the arts, famous faces, and much more. Points will be tallied between rounds-and in the end both the winning (and losing!) teams will be awarded prizes.
I'm encouraging YOU to form special groups, which we'll recognize at the trivia event: a coach's team, an administrator's team, a librarian's team, a janitor's team, etc. Or, if you're competitive (like me), you might strategically put together a team with representatives from different subject/hobby/interest areas. Teams should consist of 4-6 members and the cost of entry is $10 per person.
Homemade desserts and other refreshments will be served throughout the evening at no extra cost. Additionally, every individual will have the opportunity to enter drawings to win donated items, including prizes from:
Costa’s, Three Sisters Café, Sisters ‘N Stitches Embroider, Royal Blue (2 gift certificates for a free breakfast!), Creative Memories ($15.00 gift certificate), Mary Kay (6 gift bags--with products for women AND men),and much more!!!
All proceeds from this event will to support the purchase of new comfortable seating and other furnishings for the library.
Call, or e-mail me, to register your team today.
