Stillman Valley High School
During the 2009-10 school year, 140 (68 males and 72 females) Stillman Valley High School students enrolled in 18 Rock Valley College and Highland Community College courses. As a result of the college courses taken, our students earned 909 college credit hours. This is a 23% increase over the 739 college credits earned in 2007-2008. Of the 909 college credits earned in 2009-10, 720 or 79% of them were taken on our campus during the school day.
This is the second year of our dual credit agreement with Highland Community College. As a result, we are able to offer three additional courses to our students. The three courses we added to our offerings are; Agricultural Mechanics, Agricultural Management and Animal Science.
