January Students of the Month
Stillman Valley High School recently chose their January Students of the Month. Teachers nominated students who stood out for a variety of reasons. Several students were nominated, and the administration chose one.
Representing the freshman class is Hannah Edwards. She has clearly stated goals she is planning on achieving by her senior year. She is extremely dedicated and determined to reach her goals. To have such motivation in her freshman year, speaks loudly about her character.
Representing the sophomore class is Jessica Tackes. She is always a pleasure to have in class. Jessica is a very responsible and hard working student. She does an amazing job preparing for class and helping others.
Representing the junior class was Leeandra Durfey. Leeandra is a gifted student. She has a creative personality that shines through in all her classes. She doesn’t just do the bare minimum, Leeandra finds new ways of doing things.
Representing the senior class is Ben Glendenning. Ben has been extremely involved in agriculture at SVHS. He has dedicated his personal time to ensure that everything runs smoothly in the Ag department. Ben has truly exemplified what a leader in the Agriculture Industry would be.
For all their hard work, dedication to service, and personally motivated qualities these students received a $50 gift card from our local Stillman Bank, and also a gift basket from SVHS Principal Michael Mandzen.
