Stillman Valley High School recently chose their October Students of the Month.  Teachers nominated students who stood out for a variety of reasons.  Several students were nominated, and the administration chose one from each class.

Representing the freshman class is Julia Orlando.  She does a great job of advocating for herself, taking the time to ask questions when she is confused.  Furthermore, Julia is also very helpful to her classmates, specifically those who are struggling to understand the lesson.

Representing the sophomore class is Sydnee Overton.  She takes the time to assist her classmates who are struggling, going above and beyond to make sure that these students understand the material.  In addition to all this, Sydnee is very positive and makes learning fun for all.

Representing the junior class is Carly Wubbena.  She is a consistently hard worker who also encourages her classmates to put forth their best effort.  Furthermore, Carly possesses a very positive attitude and is kind and respectful to all.

Representing the senior class is Alex Miller.  He takes pride in his work and effort, putting extra time in to better himself, academically.  Additionally, Alex has worked so hard that he has brought his writing abilities to an entirely new level.

For all their hard work, dedication to service, and motivation, these students received a $25 VISA gift card from our local Stillman Bank, and also a gift basket from the SVHS administration.

Congratulations to all the October Students of the Month!
