Meet Cathie Murphy!

I graduated from St. Patrick's, Rockford, IL, and attended Boylan High School, Rockford, IL for four years. I also grew up in Winnebago on the family dairy farm. I attended Edgewood College, Madison, IL where I earned my BA in Secondary Business Education. I have also earned a Masters in Theology from St. John's in Collegeville, MI, and am presently working on my masters in Education Technology at the University of Michigan-Flint. I also enjoy taking classes throughout the year to keep my interest in technology growing and current.
I am the sophomore girls basketball coach and love every minute of it. The girls are great athletes and have such a wonderful desire to learn and become better players. My goal is to see the Stillman Valley girls win a state title in basketball.
I love farming, especially milking cows and feeding calves. I love to read, especially murder mystery novels as well as watching murder mysteries on television. I sing, play guitar and piano, and enjoys a good long walk at sunset through the family fields. I love to learn and really likes working with computers and technology overall. It is a great pleasure to be here at SVHS.
