Meet Cathie!

Cathie Murphy is a graduated of St. Patrick's, Rockford, IL, and Boylan High School, Rockford, IL. She grew up in Winnebago on the family farm. She attended Edgewood College, Madison, IL where she earned her BA in Secondary Business Education. She has also earned a Masters in Theology from St. John's in Collegeville, MI, and is presently working on her masters in Education Technology at the University of Michigan-Flint. Cathie joined the Stillman Valley faculty in 2007. This is her 11th year teaching. She is also the sophomore girls basketball coach.
Cathie enjoys farming, especially milking cows and feeding calves. She loves to read, especially murder mystery novels and enjoys watching murder mysteries on television. She sings, plays guitar and piano, and enjoys a good long walk at sunset through the family fields. Cathie loves to learn and really likes working with computers and technology overall.
