Meet Julia Beer!

I was born and raised in down state Catlin, Illinois. A graduate of Catlin High School, I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education at the University of Illinois in 1992. I began my teaching career as the choral director for Eureka Middle and High Schools. I returned to the University of Illinois and completed my master of Music Education degree in 1998. After nine years at Eureka, I left teaching to start a family, and maintained a private voice and piano studio from my home. I have served as a choral director at Peoria Heights High School, Metamora High School and Eureka College, and am in the process of earning a second Masters degree in educational administration at Illinois State University.
After living in Central Illinois for the past 17 years, I have relocated to Stillman Valley where I live with my children.
