Are you ready for the Work World?

The Business & Technology Department offers a variety of classes for students to enroll in so that they can be better prepared for college and for entry into the work force. One of our primary concerns is that all students at SVHS are prepared for whatever job or career they choose. Today, there are very few jobs (if any), where employees do not need to know how to work on a variety of technologies, such as software, CISCO, and multi-media! With this being said, our department offers all students an opportunity to get a jump on technology so that they are ready and employable in the future.

Courses range from mandatory classes such as Introduction to Computers, Consumer Education and Keyboarding, to optional courses:  CISCO, Intro to Web Design, Advanced Web Design, Principles of Tech, Computer Programming, Business Basics, Management Management & Entrepreneur I (Creating your own business), Accounting I and II, Web Page Management (School website), Multi-Media, and Information & Software Systems I, II, III, and IV.
