Homecoming Week Festivities

Homecoming Festivities for the week are listed below.

Spirit Dress-Up Days:

Classes compete against each other for a spirit trophy. So....join in on the fun and help your class become the 2008 winners!

Decorate a Window

Class murals must be hung in your designated window no later than 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24.  Judging the murals will take place on Wednesday, Sept 24. Any mural not displayed by 7:40 a.m. will not be judged. The banners will be judged based on the best use of theme, color, space, and overall creativity. To become involved in decorating a window, see your class advisor or officers.

Junior Window:  2nd window from right (when outside the school)

Sophomore Window:  1st window from the left (when outside the school)

Freshmen Window:  1st window from right (when outside the school)

Design and Paint a Class Banner

Using the homecoming theme (thunder struck), create a banner that will be hung in the M.P. room no later than 7:00 a.m. on Wed., Sept.24. Banners will be judged @ 7:40 that morning; any banner not completed on time will be judged accordingly. The banners will be judged based on the best use of theme, color, space, and overall creativity. To sign up to help on your class banner, see your class advisor or officers.

 Homecoming Banners 2008

Participate in Lip Sync

The songs must be 2 to 3 minutes long and must be school appropriate. They will be presented at the pep rally. Students must sign up in the office in order to participate. Lip Sync will be judged based on costumes, originality, the best use of the lyrics, and the quality of each performance.

Pep Rally

Pep rally is scheduled for Thursday night in the SVHS stadium.  Time:  7:00 p.m. @ SVHS stadium.
